Taiwan = Terrific!

We've had many great moments on the road with SUSPENSION this year, but I have to say that the highlight of the festival season has to be the Kaoshuing International Film Festival in southern Taiwan. Our hosts were incredible and gave us the red carpet treatment the whole time. They even took us on a hike of Monkey Mountain between screenings!

While at the festival, Aris and I had two Q and A sessions after showings of SUSPENSION, as well as a dedicated lecture event about the visual effects where we were able to show clips and explain individual shots. After one of our late night screenings, a healthy line formed for autographs!

The other films at the festival, many from Japanese filmmakers, were intimidatingly awesome--my favorite was Adrift in Tokyo, which despite the somber title is hilarious.
